While Arizona police are frantically looking for the 84-year-old grandma, the FBI is looking into letters from internet trolls threatening co-host Savannah Guthrie of the “Today” program with threats regarding her mother’s disappearance.

A nutcase wrote Guthrie a letter claiming to have knowledge about the kidnapping, but it was filled with insults. According to law enforcement officials, the author also alluded to the January 6 US Capitol disturbance and alleged murderer Luigi Mangione.And that’s just one of numerous letters that have been emerging since Guthrie’s mother, Nancy, disappeared from her Tucson home Saturday night.

Other notes have been sent to news outlets like TMZ and included purported details from inside Nancy’s home, claims about what she was wearing when she was taken — and even multimillion-dollar ransom demands to be paid in bitcoin.
