Recently, during an interview for Vogue, she went back in time and recalled this public appearance.
Bella pointed out that even today she feels ashamed of this moment and that the dress did not suit her style thus giving people a wrong perception of her.

“This is an iconic moment with the red dress. I felt nervous in this dress. I looked very sexy and was nervous about the cameras and having too much makeup on my face. I feel embarrassed for the moment, even though the dress is gorgeous. I didn’t feel myself. This is my alter ego”.
“I am the opposite of her. She is very va-va-voom. I love him so much. She was very nervous”, said the American star.
